Donna Jean Pappas passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer�s. She was born on February 6, 1947 to the late Roy Kenton and Helen Marie (Thompson) Parker in South Charleston, WV.

Her passing follows the untimely death of husband Peter William Pappas who passed away February 21, 2015. Her passing united two beautiful souls.

She is survived by her two children, daughter, Jamie Pappas Shepherd and husband Eugene,of Houston, Tx. Her son, John Peter Pappas II and wife Terri, of Brazoria, Tx. She had 3 grandchildren; Peter, Karter and Gentry. She is also survived by her sister, Sharon Standish and husband John and her brother, Richie Parker and wife Joy.

Before being stricken by illness, she worked at Sweeny Community Hospital in Sweeny, Tx. Prior to that she worked in Houston, Tx at Sysco and St. Cuthbert�s Episcopal Church.

Services for Mrs. Pappas will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Home with Father Brad Cunningham officiating.
