Dwight Kamback

Dwight O. Kamback, Jr., 74, of Fernandina Beach passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he was a son of the late Dwight O. and Miriam Fullbright Kamback.
Growing up in Muncie, Indiana among other activities, he was a Boy Scout and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He held degrees from Ball State University, Purdue University and the University of Northern Colorado and spent his entire working career teaching biology and chemistry at the college level.
He married the former Linda Miller in Pennsylvania in 1978. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother son and uncle. He dearly loved attending all of his children�s activities. In addition to his children�s varied activities, he loved the outdoors. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lake City, Florida where, among other ministries, he was a member of the choir.
After retirement, he and Linda moved to their beloved Fernandina Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Kamback; a daughter, Katherine; two sons, Peter and Charles; a sister, Jeanne in Ohio, a brother, Joe in Indiana as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Memorial United Methodist Church. He will be laid to rest in Bosque Bello Cemetery.
