Mary - I am heartbroken to learn of Jim's passing. He was one of my favorite from "the gang" who always came for me to rehabilitate them back to themselves so shenigans could carry on. May you and your family feel the love sent by those around you and may Jim watch over and keep you all in line.

Words cannot express the sadness we felt at hearing this. Jim was such a big part of our lives! Although we hadn't seen him recently, we will always keep fresh in our minds all of the crazy, wonderful, loving times we shared at the house in Atlanta. The great firework celebration we had there, rafting on the Chattahoochee, the trip to Antibes, and driving around in his prized Mercedes Benz convertible. He was a friend, teacher, and all around good guy. We will miss him terribly! Love you, old friend!

I have joyful memories of my Uncle Jim that I would love to share with you all. I treasured the time I spent with him because he opened my world to so many possibilities. He was a dreamer, an entrepreneur, a devoted husband and a father figure. Whenever we were together, he helped me see possibilities I could not see on my own. Our times together were exciting, fruitful, and always fun, as we often did things I would never have ventured to do by myself. Looking back, I personally can see so much of God’s grace woven through his life. I also deeply admired how devoted he was as a husband and the beautiful dynamic that Jim and Vic shared together. I learned so much from watching their relationship. I will always feel grateful to Jim for welcoming my brother Tommy into their home during such a formative season of his life and for helping guide him toward manhood. That kindness and investment meant more than words can express. For all these reasons, I carry very precious memories of Jim, and I will truly miss him.
