Buck Avant

When I first met Ed, he reached out with warmth, genuineness, humility, and a strong sense of purpose (to help others). And those qualities were always there. After he reached out to me a couple of times, out of the blue, to see how I was doing, I put in my calendar to try and reach out to him. I rarely did, but I regularly saw the reminder. And, along with a twinge of guilt, seeing his name always made me feel good! What a gift that is! And that's a gift that keeps on giving, because as long as I have a memory, I'll be able to feel that every time I remember him.

Ed and I worked together at Juice Bowl, a drinks business in Florida, and at Campbell Soup. Ed was a true professional, very capable, and he brought heart and warmth to the work place. People loved to work with Ed! We worked together 35 years ago, but I will never forget Ed's character and his friendship.
