Ella Marie Penn, 63, of Yulee passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at her home.

Born in Ogden, UT she was the daughter of the late Richard and June Fryer DeBloois. She spent much of her youth in San Jose, CA and always consider it her “home”. She earned an Associate of Science degree in Math and Computer Science.

She spent much of her working life in the banking industry and was a homemaker in her later years. She moved to Yulee in the spring of 2017 from Martinez, GA. She was a long-time member of the Mercedes Benz Association of America.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, James Matthew Penn, in February of 2022.

She leaves behind has daughter, Amanda Ruddle and her husband, Nicholas of Graniteville, SC; a six-year-old granddaughter, Savannah Marie Ruddle as well as a beloved cat, Tasha.

In keeping with her wishes her cremated remains will be released near the Bahamas in March of this year.
