Ellis L. McAninch, III

Ellis L. �Macky� McAninch III, age 32 of Callahan, Florida passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020.

He was born in Jacksonville on October 15, 1987 to Ellis and Charlotte Clark McAninch.

Macky was an outstanding athlete who loved football, baseball, weight lifting, fishing and drag racing. He also loved cooking and reading the Bible. He was a die-hard Seminoles fan�GO NOLES!

One of his fondest memories was being in attendance for the 2010 Gator Bowl which was Bobby Bowden�s last game. The Jaguars were also one of his favorite NFL teams.

Macky was considered a once in a lifetime family member and friend, always willing to help his loved ones. His passion for anything he ever did or attempted to do was unmatched. He was very charismatic and left a positive, lasting impression on anyone he ever met.

In addition to his grandparents, Macky is preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte McAninch; uncles, Mark J. McAninch, Sr., Maurice R. Higginbotham and James Jack Clark, Jr.

He leaves behind his two daughters, Ellysia McAninch and Aaliyah McAninch; son Isiah McAninch, his father, Ellis McAninch, Jr., nieces, Arielle McAninch, Taylie McAninch and nephew, Brantley Kingston McAninch. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles and numerous other extended family members.

His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Callahan.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Callahan.

He will be laid to rest in Jones Cemetery.
