Eujaney (EJ) Sturgill Ezzell of Yulee, FL passed away on February 29th, 2024 peacefully at home.

Born on January 23rd 1946 in Middletown, OH to the late Daisy Francis Denniston and Burtee Sturgill. She grew up in Middletown, OH. After high school, she went on to attend University of North Florida with a degree in nursing. She married James L. Ezzell, Jr. in 1992.

After graduating from nursing school she began her career in health care at Lanier Manor Nursing Home.

EJ loved her family and her career passionately. She enjoyed caring for her patients, cooking, gardening and taking care of her home.

She was an active member at Joy Baptist Church.

She is leaves behind her husband, James (Chip) Ezzell, Jr.; her eldest son, Perry Schenck & her son, Gary Schenck; as well as her 2 bonus daughters, Julie Ezzell and Kristy Whitehead. Grandkids, Joshua, Christopher, George, Matthew, Phillip Schenck, Megan Amos, Richie and Clayton Walden. Great grandkids, Steven Minchew, Anna & Atlas Amos ,& Kymber Ezzell.

The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
