Eva M. Williams, age 86, of Yulee, FL went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Warner Center for Caring in Fernandina Beach, FL.

She was born on December 15, 1931 in Tifton, GA to the late William R. and Katie L. (Hartley) Sullivan.

She grew up in Tifton and graduated from high school there. She married her husband, Walter G. Williams in 1952. The family moved to Yulee, FL in 1976, and for many years, Mrs. Williams worked for King Edward Cigars and then Uni-Jax in Jacksonville, FL, until retiring in the early 90�s.

Mrs. Williams was a devout Christian lady, attending North Jacksonville Baptist Church where she was a longtime worshipper. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crafting and loved animals, especially her dogs, Rascal and Lil� Bit.

Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her husband, Walter who passed away in 1994, and her son, Richard Williams.

She leaves behind her children, Walter (Gladys) Williams of Yulee, FL, Linda Shearin of Yulee, FL, Gail (David) Higginbotham of Hilliard, FL; grandchildren, Jason, Robin and Robbie Williams; Rebecca Hopkins, Elizabeth Wingate, Kelley Adams, Katie Williams, Jennifer Williams and Nicholas Williams and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 24, 2018 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Bosque Bello Cemetery.
