Frances �Nana� Christensen died peacefully at the Community Hospice Warner Center for Caring on January 23, 2020 in Fernandina Beach, Florida at 77 years of age. She was born on March 3, 1942 in Sharon, New York.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Christensen of Yulee Florida. They were married on November 26, 1988. Frances is survived by her sons, Derek Bellar, (Stacy Kelly, fiance); Darryl Bellar, (Kara); Grandchildren, Matthew Bellar (Colleen), Kristen Bedell (Ryan), Megan Lloyd (Dustin); Catie Harless (Brandon); Abby Buben (Hunter); 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by multiple step children and step grandchildren, who she always loved as her own.

She was a long time resident of Yulee, Florida and worked at Container Corporation of America for 13 years. Before Alzheimer�s limited her activity, she was very involved at The Journey Church and loved serving with the food ministry there.

The family would like to thank Myrna Averitt, who was her caregiver since June of 2017. She selflessly cared for Nana during her final two and a half years. We are forever grateful for the love and compassion she gave every day to ensure Nana�s life was safe and comfortable.

A celebration of life is scheduled on her birthday, March 3, 2020 at 6:30pm at The Journey Church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nana�s life.
