Frank G. Morton Sr., of Yulee, Florida, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 1, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 69 years old.

Frank was born on January 19, 1957, in Levittown, Pennsylvania, to the late Raymond L. Morton and Jane E. Morton. As a young child, he moved with his parents and six siblings, Edna, Ray, Janie, Tommy, Michael, and Patty, to Holiday, Florida, where he spent most of his life. He graduated from Gulf High School and went on to build a life centered on family, hard work, and dedication. Frank met and married Christine Sheets Morton, which they had two children, Frank G. Morton Jr. and Melissa L. Morton. Frank dedicated many years of service to Grubbs Construction as a heavy equipment operator; a career he took great pride in until his retirement.

Frank is survived by his 2 children, Frank "Frankie" Morton Jr. (42) and Melissa Morton (40); his son-in-law, Kevin Nunez; his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Jurevic; and his six beloved grandchildren: Alexis Morton (23), Aaron Morton (19), Oliviah Morton (16), Mariyah Nunez-Morton (15), Jacob Nunez (24) and Krystal Jurevic (21). He is also survived by his siblings, Ray Morton, Michael Morton, and Patty Morton, as well extended family members Christine Morton, Steve Gibson, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends whose lives he touched throughout the years.

Frank was caring, supportive, loving, and above all, a devoted and present family man. He cherished his children and grandchildren and was always there to offer encouragement, wisdom, and unconditional love. He inspired those around him to pursue their dreams, work hard, and enjoy life to its fullest. His strength, kindness, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In accordance with Frank's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held on September 5, 2026, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life of an extraordinary man.

Though he is no longer with us, his love, his lessons, and the memories he created will live on forever. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
