Georgia Wilson Eggers, 80, of Yulee passed away Tuesday, February 10. 2026 at her home.

Born in Cleveland, OH, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Ethel Lenon Wilson. She moved to the Yulee area with her husband, the late Jack Eggers, in 1982. She was a hair stylist and for over 20 years she operated the Hair Pair salon with her best friend, Clara Thompson. She attended Yulee Baptist Church for many years.

Away from work she was what could be called a “C
rafty Lady”. She enjoyed a variety of craft projects including sewing, crocheting, diamond painting and making costume jewelry. In addition to her other pastimes, she was dedicated to her nieces and nephews. From travelling with them on trips to Disney and the mountains, she was always involved with them as they grew up and then with their children, her great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Doris Pollock and Judy Setinsek.

She leaves behind her sister, Peggy Gammon, of Yulee, those nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews she so dearly loved. She also leaves behind her best friend, Clara Thompson of Fernandina Beach.

Plans for a time to remember and celebrate her life are still being made.
