regory Scott Peters, age 44, of Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at UF Health in Jacksonville, Florida.

Greg was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 2, 1973, the son of Shirley and the late Jimmy Peters. He graduated from Fernandina Beach High School where he played baseball. He continued his love of baseball through coaching Little League, Crusader Travel Ball and watching his son play at Yulee High School.

He worked for WestRock for over 23 years where he made lasting friendships. He loved his family and Kendall and Jensen were his pride and joy.

He leaves behind his wife of ten years, Amy Bryan Peters, his daughter, Kendall Rae Peters, his son, Jensen Gregory Peters, his mother, Shirley Peters, his grandmother Grace Bennett Peters all of Fernandina Beach, and many family and friends.

His family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 � 4:00 pm at Oxley-Heard.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 7, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Fernandina Beach with the Reverend Zack Terry officiating.
