Helen Faye Byerly, 71, of Yulee, FL went home to be with the Lord on December 16th 2022 due to complications arising from Cirrhosis(non-alcoholic) of the liver.

She was born on July 19th, 1951 in Ocala, FL to Troy and Ruby Rodgers. She was a God fearing woman who loved her family and friends dearly. She lit up every room that she walked in and always made everyone laugh. She loved taking care of the yard & her plants and also loved doing arts & crafts.

Helen is survived by her husband of (27 years) William Jackson Byerly III of Yulee, FL; her two sons, James Eric Gray of Woodbine, Ga and Charley F.L. Glass (Melissa Glass) of Jacksonville, FL; Siblings, Carolyn Keegan (J.C. Keegan) of Callahan, FL, and Harold Rodgers of Jacksonville,FL; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, pets(Lola, Sequoia & Sunny) and many, many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Troy F.L. Rodgers and Ruby Rodgers; her brother Jimmie Ray Rodgers; and her grandson Drew Emery Whittenbarger.

She will be laid to rest at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on January 5th 2023
