Mrs. Helen Williams Knopf, age 92 of Jacksonville passed away on Saturday morning, July 8, 2017 at the Warner Center for Caring in Fernandina Beach, FL.

Born in Allendale, SC she was one of five daughters born to the late Willie Norman Williams and Nanny Louise Locke.

She married Jinat Jonathan Knopf Jr., the love of her life, in 1947. They remained together until his passing on April 22, 2017.

They were members of Spring Glen United Methodist Church.

Helen�s passing should allow the fish in northeast Florida to feel a little safer, as her fishing skill and persistence were legendary.

She leaves behind her children, William T. Knopf and his wife, Vicky, Beech Island, SC, Mary Louise Knopf Bohanon and her husband, Danny, Fernandina Beach, FL, her sister, Joyce Brewer, Allendale, SC and grand and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Knopf will be laid to rest beside her husband in Fairfax, SC.
