Mr. James M. �Mickey� Lee, 86, a lifelong resident of Fernandina Beach, FL. passed away peacefully at his home on August 17, 2017 surrounded by family.

He was the oldest child born to the late James Rufus & Beatrice King Lee. Mr. Lee was employed by the former Container Corporation of America for 38 years before retiring in 1994.

He loved fishing & telling stories of the Good Old Days.

He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Waters Lee and brothers Ronnie & Smiley Lee.

He leaves behind his sons, Ray (Angie) Lee of Yulee, FL, Curtis & Mike Lee of Fernandina Beach, FL, and Mark (Kay) Lee of Eastman, GA, a sister, Lorena Wilder of Fernandina Beach, FL, four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and an honorary son, Robert �Bert� Griffin.

Services will be held Monday, August 21, 2017, 11:00am in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard with Chaplain Jackie Hayes officiating.

His family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service.

He will be laid to rest by his wife at Bosque-Bello Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in his name to : Community Hospice of NE Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
