Mr. James Stevie �Steve� Hyers, age 56, of Hephizabah, South Augusta, GA passed away at University Hospital in Augusta on Thursday, August 18, 2016.

Born in Fernandina Beach, FL he was the son of Gaynell Morgan and the late James H. Hyers. He grew up and attended school in Fernandina Beach. Mr. Hyers had worked in the trucking industry for over 20 years. He worked as the Assistant Terminal Manager at the Estes Trucking Terminal in Jacksonville until being promoted to Terminal Manager and transferring to the Augusta Terminal in 2013.

Steve leaves behind, his wife, Deanna Hyers, Yulee, FL, his mother, Gaynell Morgan, Yulee, FL, two sons, Steven and Dustin Hyers, both of South Carolina, a sister, Faye Shedlock, Anderson, SC and three grandchildren, Emma, Timothy and Thomas.
