Jan was a lovely person, she treated me like family. She will be greatly missed. I have wonderful memories with her, she and David always loved my cooking. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Take your rest my friend.

Mrs. Rodeffer was one of the best teachers I ever had while in school at West Nassau High School. She was not only a great teacher, but mentor to me and many others, and also a wonderful friend. Her personality was so good and her smile always lifted my spirits. I am so thankful to have had her as not only one of my teachers but also my friend. She was not only loved by me but many within my class of 1978. My prayers to you, her family, whom she talked about often, through these difficult days ahead. Thank you for sharing her with us through those years. Prayers to you all

Jan was one of the sweetest friends and we use to have so much fun “ playing Bridge” together! What a group we had. We took Jan and David and Mark and Sherry Bean for their 1st trip to Cumberland Island and what fun we all had together . Jan will be missed by so many friends and family.

Not only was Jan a wonderful teacher, I was blessed to be her Teacher’s Aide. I also had the privilege of getting to know her even more on a personal level when I taught at West Nassau. She was such a vibrant, loving person. She was positive and kind to all. Her smile was infectious. I will never forget her wonderful legacy. She simply shined Jesus and love!♥️
