Condolences:

Jimmy and Deb Alligood

Best memories eating at pizza barn(best pizza ever) then going out back and watch Pit and others box. Deb worked at ace hardware across the street from pizza barn and he always made sure he made a pitcher of tea first thing for her. If he forgot he would pour coffee over ice. Don't think she knew the difference.RIP my friend.

Tanya Hazzard

Jean Lucien LeBrun

2026-06-23

Jean Lucien LeBrun 86 (born 1-21-40) passed peacefully from this earth on June 23, 2026 surrounded by family. He leaves his wife of 56 years Sharleen Thomas LeBrun, 4 children Richard P. LeBrun(Wanda), Johanne LeBrun, Claude LeBrun, and Richard D. "Rick" LeBrun (Kim) and a daughter-in-law Kenna Joy Thrift Berry(Chris), grandchildren Dean, David, Christopher, Rushelle, Pit, Kailee-Lane, Makailyn, Meadow, Everleigh, numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Pierre Rene LeBrun and Georgette Proulx LeBrun, his siblings Nicole LeBrun Kruidbos, Pierre LeBrun and Louise LeBrun Salaoui and his son Jean Lucien "Pit" LeBrun, Jr..

He began as an airplane mechanic at Air Canada, transitioned to machinist after moving to Florida, then farmer, restauranteur, video store owner and photographer, bringing his kids to work and instilling his attitudes of hard work and friendliness, but the roles he enjoyed most were "Papa" to his extensive family and "Coach" to the many hundreds of athletes he mentored in sports ranging from teeball/baseball to football and boxing. He trained kids that won National Championships in boxing, won state championships in football, played Div I college football and even umpired local softball and baseball leagues. He loved to hunt and fish, one time flying from a blizzard in Montreal to Miami to spend a day deep sea fishing, returning to work after the weekend with a sunburn and stories to match. He was well known to regale family members with anecdotes of his adventures and experiences usually with a point that applied to his listeners' life.

Each new family member added, whether by birth or marriage, instantly became important to him. He freely gave his love and attention making each person feel special, valued and family. He was the glue that held everyone together.
He will be missed.
