Johnnie Boatright

Johnnie Boatright, age 67 of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away on Friday, August 15, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville.
He was born in Alma, Georgia to the late Colon Boatright and Susie Milligen Boatright and his family moved to Fernandina Beach when he was in the third grade.
Johnnie was a family man who loved spending time grilling and being with loved ones. He enjoyed fishing and tending his garden. Johnnie worked for most of his life as a mechanic and was employed by B & C Tire, Steve Johnson Automotive and Brett�s Waterway Cafe before retiring. He was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle of Jesus Christ and loved talking about the Bible.
He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Cynthia Rowland Boatright of Fernandina Beach, Florida; his children, Sarina Boatright and her partner Brian of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Jacob Boatright of Savannah, Georgia; sisters, Juanita Duke and her husband Phil of Tampa, Florida, Wanda Loucks and her husband Don of Maricopa, Arizona, Frieda Crews of Fernandina Beach, Florida; grandchild, Cameron Gorman and a host of extended family.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Lighthouse Tabernacle of Jesus Christ, 1080 Olive Street, Fernandina Beach, FL.
His family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the church.
He will be laid to rest in Hughes Cemetery.

Cynthia, I am so sory to read of Johnnie�s passing over. I always thought so much of him. I knew him as a teenager and I have to say he was ALWAYS a complete gentleman.
