Jo Lynn Tinsley of Yulee, Florida passed away on June 16, 2022 with her beloved husband Albert “Ray” Tinsley.

Jo Lynn was born on July 11, 1937 in Newell, Alabama to the late R. D. Prescott and Bessie Lovvorn Prescott. She grew up and went to school in La Grange, Georgia. After moving with her family to Jacksonville, Florida she was married and had a son, Rickey Lashley, who preceded her in death.

She later worked many years at St. Vincent’s hospital. Jo Lynn enjoyed working around the home and planting all kinds of beautiful flowers. She also loved crocheting as a hobby. She was a member of Yulee Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at Yulee Baptist Church on Friday, June 24th from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM with a funeral service for she and her husband held immediately afterwards With Pastor Doug Sides officiating.

She leaves to mourn her passing a sister Carol Manning, a brother, Gerald Prescott, several nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends.

Jo Lynn and Ray will be laid to rest in Hughes Cemetery immediately following the service.
