Angie, Marie and Amanda, thank you all for your kind words as they do reflect my mother’s personality, devotion and kindness. I wish you could have been at the beautiful service Reverend Julie Higsbee delivered . Jerry and Kaden drove from Austin and Dallas to witness their grandmother and great grandmothers entering eternal life. She is not without love on earth nor in heaven.

What I remember most about Juanita is the stories of all her travels and cool places she’s been. When I was a kid, she bought me and my sister some pink pajamas from Singapore and a huge paper decorative umbrella from Singapore that I hung onto for many years. She was a loving supportive grandmother to my little brother, she will be dearly missed.

Chris, your mother was a most gracious person who always welcomed us into you home. You and your family are in my thought and prayers.
