Judith Greene Goolsby (76) of Destin, FL passed away on November 25, 2019 at Ft. Walton Beach Hospital.

She was born in Little Rock, AK on December 30, 1942. She moved with her family to Tampa, FL and graduated from Plant City High School. Judith received her Bachelor�s Degree of Fine Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. After college, she lived and worked in Atlanta, GA where she met and married Thomas Goolsby. They moved to New York City where Judith went to work for Scholastic Magazine then continued her life-long career as a freelance artist. Judith and Tom semi-retired and moved to Destin in 1994. There, Judith continued working and painting while enjoying the Destin community.

She enjoyed traveling and attending artists� workshops to perfect her painting skills. She was a dog lover and fond of keeping up with family and friends.

Judith is survived by her sister-in-law, Eleanor Greene; nieces, Margo Greene and Susan Bowers; nephews, Allen and Myal Greene; and great niece and nephews, Ikamba, James and Micah Greene.

A celebration of life service will be help graveside at Bosque Bello Cemetery in Fernandina Beach, FL on Saturday, January 11 at 11:00 a.m.
