Judith H. Lee

Judith Holmes Lee, 63, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at her home on Amelia Island, Florida. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and good friend to countless people.
On December 2, 1957, Judith (Judy) was born to Jane and Wesley Holmes Jr. and grew up in Mobile, Alabama. She attended Independent Methodist School graduating in 1975. From there, she attended Bob Jones University, graduating in 1979 with a degree in Home Economics. In 1982 she met Carl E. Lee Jr., and in March 1985, they married.
Judy's career progressed in scope and responsibilities until becoming a mother of two boys, Alexander Edward Lee and Andrew Michael Lee. She has been the foundation and guiding light for her young men. For Carl, she provided the perfect support for his progressing career, leading to living in many places, including three continents.
Judy was an accomplished interior designer to see a finished room in mind before executing the design flawlessly. In addition, she was a lover of history, particularly of the English Monarchy, and relished the opportunity to live in England and Holland when Carl's career led to an ex-pat assignment in Europe.
Judy was a member of First Baptist Church Fernandina Beach.
Judy leaves behind her spouse of 36 years, Carl E. Lee Jr. of Amelia Island, children Alexander Lee and Andrew Lee, parents Jane and Wesley Holmes of Mobile, AL, and siblings David Holmes, Patsy Bailey, and Norman Holmes.
The Funeral Services are planned for 11 AM on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 1600 South 8th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the hour of the service at First Baptist Fernandina Beach.
She will be laid to rest in Bosque Bello Cemetery in Fernandina Beach, FL.
