Julianne Reppa Newman

2026-08-07

Julianne Reppa Newman, age 40, passed away suddenly on August 7, 2026, at her home in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Growing up as the youngest of four, she was adored by her siblings, who would race to sit beside her at the dinner table or beat one another to the car, all shouting "N.T.J." - Next to Juli. They simply loved being near her.

She graduated from Central Bucks West High School in 2004 and from Penn State University in 2008 with a degree in Supply Chain Management. She most recently worked at NextGen Healthcare as a deal desk analyst, where she was well respected for her dedication and attention to detail.

After college, Juli began her career with a global logistics firm in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, and made her home in Manayunk. In 2013, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where she discovered a deep appreciation for warm weather, southern hospitality, and the ocean - and where she met her husband, Shane, whom she married in 2018. Juli and Shane bought their first home together in Charleston and delighted in the significant renovations to make it their own. In 2021, they moved to Fernandina Beach to be closer to Shane's daughter and Juli's beloved stepdaughter, Taylor, whom she’s known since she was three years old.

In Florida, Juli continued to embrace the outdoors and the beach while flourishing as the consummate homemaker. Juli loved preparing meals and filling her home with warmth. She was deeply sentimental about surrounding herself with furnishings and mementos passed down from her grandparents and parents. Taylor once captured the essence of Juli's gift perfectly, telling her mother, "Juli really knows how to make a house a home." Juli had a uniquely natural way of creating a welcoming home, marked by her warm smile, sentimental décor, fresh-cut flowers, and the easy joy she took in preparing meals for family and friends.

Juli's greatest happiness came from time spent with family. She cherished boating trips with Shane, shopping outings with Taylor, and watching Taylor compete in softball and long-distance running. She had a true love of travel, especially a 2020 cross-country RV road trip with Shane. Most recently, Juli enjoyed 40th birthday celebrations in Puerto Rico, Asheville, North Carolina, and Disney World. She treasured yearly family vacations in Dewey Beach, Delaware, and trips to Mexico, Costa Rica, and Chile. Her true happy place, though, was San Diego, spending time with her sister, Lauren, and family. It was her dream to one day call San Diego home.

Juli was the most selfless, caring, and compassionate person, and the best friend anyone could ever ask for. She lit up every room with her contagious smile and warm, welcoming spirit.

Juli is survived by her husband, Shane Newman; her stepdaughter, Taylor Newman; her parents, Greg and Debbie Reppa; her siblings, Jennifer Walls (Ryan), Scott Reppa (partner Bonnie), and Lauren Iacoangelo (Paul); her sister-in-law and close friend, Tara Newman Trim; her adoring nieces and nephews, Katie, Sami, and Logan Walls, and Emma, Mia, and Luca Iacoangelo; and her much-loved dogs, Woody and Bear.

Juli was cremated in Fernandina Beach, Florida, and her ashes have been brought home to Doylestown. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 4th at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Doylestown. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will immediately follow the service and will be private for family members only.

In her memory, please honor Juli by passing on random acts of kindness, just as she always did. Her infectious smile and loving, thoughtful nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

If those we have loved and lost are with God and God is with us, they cannot be too far away.
