Karen Michelle Stephenson Knight of Yulee, passed away on December 9th, 2023.
Karen was born in New York to Joyce Marie Stephenson and Robert Lewis Stephenson. She married Wesley Knight of Yulee, May 12th, 1996.
Karen was a gifted seamstress. She spent much of her time creating beautiful gifts for her nieces and other family members. She also enjoyed baking sweet treats for those she loved. Above all else, she loved her family and spending time with those who called her Mimi (Emma, Lilly, and Elizabeth Poirier), Aunt KK, sister, and friend.
She is predeceased by her father, Robert Lewis Stephenson.
She leaves behind her husband of 27 years, Wesley Knight, mother, Joyce Stephenson, sisters Kelly Perry (Jeffrey), Kasey Stephenson (J.T.), Robbie Raulerson (Shannon), Kim Crawford (Eugene), brothers David Griffin and Robert Garrett, along with many extra special nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Directors on Saturday, December 16th at 3PM. The family will receive friends starting at 2PM until the time of the service.
