Kathy Bland

Renee and family-Prayers for you all in the loss of your husband, father, son and brother. May the peace of Jesus Christ be with you.

Annelisa Winebarger

In the 3rd grade I met Jordan Thornton, little did I know we would become the best of friends. As our friendship grew we stayed at each others houses and had so much fun. Her dad (Daniel) became my second dad, and her mom (Renee) became my second mom! They opened their house to me for an entire week I stayed there! Yes a week haha! As we grew going into middle school, Jordan and I were in the band. We had a few concerts and we would always take a family photo, me Jordan, Mrs.Renee, and Mr. Daniel. Our photos were always so cute. I wish I could put into words how blessed I was to call him a second dad. My heart hurts to say bye, but I like to think as a see you later. Thank you for everything, Love you second dad!

He was family, I will miss him so much. Time may have always went in between when I was able to see him and the family. But he/they always loved me like I was still over there every single day. I love y’all. Rest easy, tell Uncle James how much I miss and love him.

The best memory I have of Daniel is truly a testament to his character. No matter what he was doing, no matter how busy he was he would always make time for you. He would sit with you and listen to everything you had to say without interruption and without judgment. He was a kind soul and will be dearly missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr Thornton came to my college graduation and his wife Renee who took care of my special needs son. Mr Thornton was a great kind man and I'm hurting for his family. The Thorntons because like family to me and my kids. God bless you all..
