I Michael lightsey just found this out Kristen Dolan was one of the special person in my life she was really one of my true love's even though I never got to tell her I was trying really hard to get a hold of her cuz I had lost her number and really wanted to talk to her not knowing she had passed away I really miss her I wish things would had really worked out before us but we were both drinking at the time and it was creating a bunch of problems otherwise we would have made a perfect couple

Kristen was a sweet lady that I met one summer on wrightsville Beach we became friends and dated that summer I never saw her again but I always had good memories of holding hands and walking on the beach together

Kristen Elaine Dolan, 63, of Amelia Island passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
She was born in Winchester, Massachusetts to the late Philip Bernard and Elaine Adams Dolan.
Kristen attended Bauder Fashion College in Miami in the early 1980’s and worked in fashion retail early in her life. Before moving full time to Amelia Island 3 ½ years ago she lived in Beaufort, North Carolina where she had worked in home healthcare. During the years before moving full time to Amelia Island she considered herself a part time resident, spending time with her parents at their home.
For many years Kristen was an avid snow skier and was considered quite good. Always an animal lover, she would volunteer to walk her neighbor’s dog or care for any animal she could.
She leaves behind her brother, Philip A. Dolan of Maynard, Massachusetts; her nephews, Philip Patrick Dolan and Timothy Adams Dolan, both of Maynard Massachusetts as well as many cousins and friends in Massachusetts, North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida. With all of her family and friends, Kristen was loved more that she ever knew.
There are no services planned at this time. She will be returned to her native Massachusetts.
