Linda Dingman

Mrs. Linda Sue Dingman, age 70 former longtime resident of the Cincinnati area passed away at the Warner Center for Caring in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, FL on Sunday, January 1, 2017.

Born in Cincinnati, she was one of four children born to the late Walter Robert and Betty Louise Hawthorne Fisher. She grew up in Blue Ash where she was a graduate of Sycamore High School. After high school she began working for the Fannie Farmer Candy Company in Cincinnati. In 1963 she met a young man, Gerald Lee Dingman, of West Chester whom she would marry in 1966. After their marriage, her husband�s commitment to the U.S. Air Force took him overseas and Mrs. Dingman moved back home until his discharge in 1968. Upon his discharge the Dingman�s moved back to Sharonville, OH where Mrs. Dingman became a homemaker, wife and mother. The Dingman family remained in the Cincinnati area until moving to Fernandina Beach in 2001. Upon settling on Amelia Island Mrs. Dingman worked as an Administrative assistant for the Amelia Island Plantation until 2010.

She enjoyed reading fiction and working picture puzzles.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, John Walter Fisher and a sister, Karen Brooks

Mrs. Dingman leaves behind, her husband of 50 years, Gerald �Jerry� L. Dingman, Fernandina Beach, FL, their children, Jerilyn R. Dingman, Bowling Green, OH, Jason T. Dingman and his wife, Lisa, Canfield, OH, a sister Sharon Smith, Loveland, OH, and three grandchildren, Mia Christine Dingman, Zakary Jason Dingman and Tyler Patrick Dingman.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon, January 7, 2016 at Strawser Funeral Home in Blue Ash, OH.

Mrs. Dingman will be laid to rest in Resthaven Cemetery in Blue Ash, OH.
