So sorry for ya'lls lose Lisa,Stacey, family and friends. When i was in my early 20's i lived in the trailer park they had behind the motel i got pregnant and lost my job Linda was so helpful and kind she let me paint the motel and clean rooms to pay my rent so i wouldn't lose the trailer. I probably made out better on the deal than she did but, she didn't care. She will be missed sending prayers for all!

Linda Jones Brazell, 79, of Yulee passed away Monday, August 24, 2026.
She was born in Yulee and was a daughter of the late Ward Tucker and Olive Libby Jones. She attended school in Yulee and was a member of the last graduating class of the old Yulee High School on U. S. 17.
Her father was a minister at Hedges Baptist Church for several years and she grew up in the church and was a Christian lady. In 1976 she bought the Tropic Motel from a former teacher and in 1991 she built Hedges Meat Market and the accompanying Laundry Mat and operated it for many years. She was a fun-loving mother who was loved by her family. She enjoyed a wide variety of music from the Beatles to older country music including Eddy Arnold and Patsy Cline.
She was married to the late Larry Brazell for over 55 years. He passed away in 2021. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her brothers and a sister, Gus Jones, Faye Jones and Calvin Jones.
She leaves behind her daughters, Lisa Mullis of Newberry, SC and Stacey (Jerry) Hester of Yulee and a granddaughter, Olivia Sierra Hester of Colorado Springs, CO.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brazell will be held in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Directors on Saturday, August 29, 2026 beginning at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Haddock Cemetery near Kings Ferry.
