David Louis Miner, age 62, of Yulee, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Miner was born on September 5, 1954 in Fernandina, FL. He was the son of Louis Frederick and the late Yvonne Jean Johnson Miner. He grew up in Nassau County and attended Yulee Elementary and Fernandina Beach High School.

He worked various jobs at ITT Rayonier but mainly worked in the Wood yard. At an early age he learned to play the drums went on the road with many bands, playing Country and Southern Rock music.

Mr. Miner leaves behind his son; Steven Miner, Yulee, daughter, Katie Miner, Yulee, his father, Louis F. Miner, Yulee, FL, a brother; Mark Miner (Karen), Woodbine, GA and a sister, Faye Driver (Earl) of Jacksonville, FL.

There will be a private family funeral service.

David will be laid to rest at the family farm.
