Mrs. Lynda was a great mom, she supported her children. She was was one of our class chaperones for our class of 87โ€™ class trip. I remember her all though her children Chris and Heather school years. She was the โ€œCoolโ€ mom. I loved Mrs Lynda. She keep us kids in line and we had a great trip. Lynda Bunch Holland

Lynda Bunch Holland, age 73 of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

Born on July 31, 1950 in Fernandina Beach, FL to the late Walter Phillip Bunch and Lillian Schumacker Bunch. She was born in the family home and grew up in Fernandina Beach, FL. She was a lifelong resident and graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in 1968.

Lynda spent her life being a homemaker and most importantly caring for her children, her granddaughters and her great grandchildren. The great grands were loving referred to as her โ€œlittlesโ€. Her love for her family and friends was beyond compare.

She was talented at sewing and baking cakes. Lynda enjoyed reading, movies and was a collector of antiques. She loved to travel and spend time with her precious dog, Rosie.

Lynda is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lillian Bunch; her son, James Harrison Holland (1985); and ex husband and father of her children, Michael Larry Holland (2018).
She is survived by her son, Cris (Misti) Holland; daughter, Heather (Ben) Hall; granddaughters, Haley (Steven) Johnson, Chelsea Holland (Dylan Dildine), Makaela (Taylor) Cook and Shelbea Holland. Her great grandchildren, Hudson, Knox and Beckam Johnson, Lakelee and Claira James Cook.

Lynda will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley Heard. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
