Mrs. Margaret Lucas, age 75 of Hilliard, FL passed away at St. Vincent�s Community Hospice in Jacksonville on Wednesday morning, July 5, 2017.

Born in Jacksonville, she was one of five children born to the late George and Eva Mae Terrell Lucas. She grew up on the Northside of Jacksonville before moving to Callahan as a teenager. She was married to Ernest Alexander Nutty until his passing in 2010. She was a lifelong homemaker and Baptist by faith. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and collecting what nots.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Mae Bishop and Martha Ann Fralick. Her oldest brother, William Lee Lucas of Callahan, passed away on the day following her death.

She leaves behind, three sons, Ronald Nutty (Christina), Callahan, FL, Randy Nutty (Angie), Yulee, FL, Larry Mims (Tammy), Hiliard, FL, a daughter, Ilene Mims, Hilliard, FL, a brothers, Donnie Lucas, Hawthorne, FL, fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews to include a special niece, Virginia Kay Johnson of Yulee ,FL.

Funeral services will be at 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley Heard.

Her family will receive friends following the service at a family gathering to be held at Callahan BarbeQue.
