Marina Ramos-Cortez

Mrs. Marina Ramos-Cortez, 84, of Fernandina Beach passed away at her home Thursday, July 26, 2018.

Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Edugives Ramos and Lucia Cortez. Mrs. Ramos-Cortez had made her home in Fernandina Beach since moving with her husband, Luis Feliciano in 2001.

She was a homemaker and her life was her faith and her family. She was a loving a nurturing mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved and guided her family through the years. She not only did things for her family but taught them how to do for themselves and to do things well.

Mrs. Ramos-Cortez�s faith was of the utmost importance to her. She was an active member with Inglesia De Dios Pentecostal Mi and worshiped at the Promised Land Church in Fernandina Beach. There she was a member of the choir and could always be found to involved in all aspects of worship.

In addition to her parents and all of her siblings, she was predeceased by her husband, Luis Antonio Feliciano in 2005.

She leaves behind her son, Angel Feliciano and his wife, Neldia, of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, her daughters, Aida Feliciano of Kingsland, Georgia, Norma Nieves and her husband, David, of Kingsland, Georgia, Jacqueline Fuentes of New York, New York; her 11 grandchildren, Linda, Bethzaida, Damary, Lucy, Kathy, Kelly, Wanda, Marilyn, Joel, Joshua and Leslie; 24 great grandchildren as well as many extended family members.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 pm on Monday, July 30, 2018 at The Promise Land Church in Fernandina Beach, FL.

She will return to her native Puerto Rico for additional services and interment beside her husband in Monte Cristo Cemetery in Aguadilla.
