Mark Jerome Coggins, 62, of Yulee passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. He was born November 13, 1955 in Charleston, SC, the son of Floyd James and Betty Jewel Coggins. He attended Fernandina Beach High School.

Jerome leaves behind his significant other, Carol Lina; daughter Ashley Coggins Dove; son Mikivin Shev Ashmore (Wendee); grandchildren Riley Coggins, Cameron and Jayden Dove, Lockland Ashmore; sisters Joyce Sofge (Jimmy), Paula Morrison (Gary), Valerie Huffman (Johnny), and Missy Coggins (Kim) along with several nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents Floyd and Betty Coggins; son Joshua Mark Coggins.

Jerome worked in the auto body mechanic business for 42 years. He was a loving father, and great son. Jerome enjoyed spending time with all his family, traveling, camping, and riding motorcycles. Jerome was loved and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 1, 2018 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley Heard Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until the hour of service.

The family asks donations be made, in his memory, to the American Heart Association.
