Marvel A. Wilkinson, 73, of Yulee, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at her home.

Born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Mrs. Wilkinson was a daughter of the late John and Madge C. Walton. Graduating from Utica High School in Utica, OH she would later became a beautician and continued for several years.

Moving from Utica she and her husband, Donald, made their home in Yulee for the past 20 years.

Although retired, Mrs. Wilkinson always considered herself a homemaker. Her husband and children all agree that home and family were her priority. She was also known as an avid reader, sometimes reading several books in a week�s time.

She was predeceased by her parents and her three brothers, Sonny, Bud and Michael.

Her surviving family includes: her husband of nearly 53 years, Donald E. Wilkinson; her three children, Kimberly Parker and Donald E. Wilkinson, II, both of Newark, Ohio, and Deirdre Williamson and her husband, John, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; a sister, Karen Kashner of Utica, Ohio as well as nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

There will be no local service. Mrs. Wilkinson will be returned to her native Ohio.
