Mrs. Mary A. Thatcher, 86, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 surrounded by her family at home.
She was born in Clarinda, IA and was a daughter of the late Jay W. and Irmal Higgins Lee and retired as an Operations Manager for Bank of America. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church since moving to Fernandina Beach.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Carl Thatcher, in 2019.
She leaves behind a large extended family including children, grandchildren, great-great and great-great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at Springhill Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest with her husband at a later date.
