Mary Elizabeth Vonnoh Ferreira

Mary Elizabeth Vonnoh Ferreira was born on December 4,1946 in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
She graduated from Fernandina Beach High School with a class of 100 students in 1964. After graduation, she went to Texas for two years and lived with her oldest brother who sent her to school to become a beautician. She came back to Fernandina and practiced her trade for 14 years.
She and her husband Mitch Ferreira married in 1970, and Mary took classes and went to work for Courson and Stam as an accountant.
She was so good she took all of her husband’s money and left him broke! (Just kidding)
She was and always will be the love of his life. She left this world on Friday, August 14th and he will long for the day when they will be together again.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 5 - 7 pm at Oxley Heard Funeral Home.
Funeral services on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11:00 am in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley Heard Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Bosque Bello Cemetery.
