Mary Lou Bennett

Mrs. Mary Lou Bennett passed away in her home in the early hours of Friday, October 8, 2021. She was a lifelong resident of Yulee, Florida.

Mrs. Bennett was a home maker and loved cooking. She also enjoyed fishing and was a supporter of the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Bennett and grandsons, Donald Brown and Jerry Logan.

She leaves behind her children, Larry Bennett, Ray and Kathy Bennett, Jennifer and Fletcher Wilder, Meshell and Jeff Beatty; grandchildren, Kimberly Bennett, Shannon Little, Jamie Bennett, Melissa Eubanks, Stacey Benton, Marissa Beatty; sisters, Milbria Wimberly and Suzi Marlowe. She also leaves behind 8 great-grandchildren.

Her family would like to extend their appreciation to Community Hospice and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice of N.E. Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 11, 2021 in Hughes Cemetery in Yulee, Florida.

Her family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday, October 10th at Oxley-Heard Funeral Home.
