Nathan Ray Morris, II

Nathan Ray Morris ll, 45, of Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away on Wednesday February 8th.

Born on January 6th, 1978 in Jacksonville, Florida to Anna Jo Jones and Nathan Ray Morris. He grew up in Fernandina Beach and graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in 1997. After graduation he received a football scholarship to attend Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri.

Ray was a graduate of Tulsa Welding School and was a talented welder. He always enjoyed the outdoors, especially the beach. He spent his time hunting, fishing, and surfing with his friends and family.

His children remember him as a strong, passionate, gentle man who loved his friends and family fiercely.

Ray leaves behind two sons, Wesley and Brian, his brother Justin, his mother Jo, and his father Nathan.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday February 14th at Oxley Heard.

The family would like to invite anyone who knew Ray to a viewing held at 5PM at Oxley Heard on Monday February 13th.

Ray will be laid to rest next to Brian Bell at Hughes Cemetery in Yulee, Florida.
