Nicole Kristen Huot

2021-10-03

Nicole Huot, 33, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021.

Nicole, “Nic”, grew up in Yulee/Fernandina Beach, FL where she attended Fernandina Beach High School and made several friendships that lasted the test of time.

In 2009, she began dating her best friend. They enjoyed traveling, singing and listening to music, watching movies, attending concerts and laughing and talking together for hours on end. In 2013, they said their vows in front of a couple close friends in Washington D.C. with their 5 month old daughter as flower girl. In 2018, they welcomed their 2nd daughter into the world and became a happy family of four.

Nicole was an extraordinary person that leaves a beautiful and meaningful legacy behind. She was known to so many for her unmatchable wit and incredible sense of humor. She loved music, especially live music, and had a beautiful voice that, if you were lucky enough, she would let you hear. She was an avid sports fan (Go Gators!) and loved the outdoors. The beach, especially at night, was one of her favorite places to be. If she wasn't spending time with her daughters, you could find her buried in one of her favorite books, listening to music or investigating along with the latest documentary.

Her daughters were the center of her life and her most cherished accomplishments. She was fiercely devoted to protecting them at all costs and loved them with every fiber of her being. Her memory lives on in their little hearts and minds and the world is a better place because Nicole was in it.

She leaves behind her wife and soulmate, Joann Huot; her daughters Claire Huot (8) and Jane Huot (2); her mother, Debbie Currin; her brother, Aaron Huot; her grandmother, Maureen Wade and several other family members and very close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a private location on November 20th, 2021. Please contact her wife for details.
