Patricia Ann Hine

2020-04-18

atricia Ann Hine, age 87 of Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020.

Born in San Francisco, California, she was the daughter of the late Bertram and Maron Ellen (Smith) Holmes.

After spending much of her life in the Northern California Bay area, her immediate family settled in Las Vegas, Nevada. Always community minded, she was a member of Jobs daughters, Bethel # 37, a ladies service organization associated with the Masonic Lodge in San Francisco. Patricia was very active in the Mesquite Club of Las Vegas, Nevadas oldest philanthropic organization; President of the Home of Good Shepherd Auxiliary; organizer of the annual Nite of Stars fundraiser and volunteer to the UNLV library.

Following retirement as a hotel food and beverage manager, Patricia moved to Three Lakes, Wisconsin to be close to family. She continued to contribute to many community organizations including Friends of the Demner Library and The Three Lakes Center for the Arts.

She was a talented homemaker and loved spending time in her garden, especially proud of her increasingly abundant crop of peonies!

Left behind are her children, Linnea Ebann and her husband John of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Jonathan W. Hine of Connecticut; brother, Edward G. Holmes and his wife Ruth of San Jose, California; grandchildren, Ashley-Lynn Popham and her husband Derrick of South Carolina, Kaley Ann Jenkins and her husband Jason of Vaughn, Washington and great-grandchildren, Taylor Q. Thomas, Sutton B. Thomas, Everett J. Jenkins and Remy- Mae Jenkins.

Her family would like to thank everyone for their tender words, shared memories, kind thoughts and condolences.
