Mrs. Patricia Ann Smith, age 69 of Yulee, passed away on Wednesday evening, January 4, 2017 at the Warner Center for Caring in Fernandina Beach.

Born on July 1, 1947 in Jacksonville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Council Ingham and Ruby Braddock Ingham. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1965 and on March 25th in 1966 she married Marvin Nathaniel Smith Jr. Mrs. Smith worked as a Teacher�s Aide with the Nassau County Public School System from 1982 until retiring in 1999.

She and her family have been longtime members of the Blackrock Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son, Marvin �Joey� Smith who passed away in 1986.

Mrs. Smith leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Marvin N. Smith, Yulee, FL, their daughter, Angie Griffin, Fernandina Beach, FL, a sister, Penny Suggs, Yulee, FL, grandchildren, Ashley Spivey and her husband, Philip, Fernandina Beach, FL, Louis Griffin, Fernandina Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Blackrock Baptist Church with Pastor John Kasper and Reverend Frank Camarotti, officiating.

Mrs. Smith will be laid to rest beside her son in Greenpine Cemetery.

Serving as her pallbearers will be: Louis Griffin, Philip Spivey, Jesse Suggs, Robbie Nevin, Randy Rhoden and Jimmy Lovett.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, at the church, from 10:00 am until the hour of service.
