To the family of Mr Sanders. I did not know him well but all my visits with him he was so nice to me. I still have a cross he made and gave to me. Rest in Peace and I am praying for the family

Paul "Rusty" Sanders, age 70, passed away on August 3, 2026, in Yulee, Florida. Born on January 19, 1956, to Frank and Emma Jo Sanders.
Rusty was a proud veteran who dedicated much of his life to serving his country, eventually retiring from the United States Navy. Following his military career, he enjoyed a peaceful life in Yulee, where he spent cherished time with his loved ones.
He is survived by his mother, Emma Jo Sanders; his son, Paul Franklin Sanders III and daughter-in-law Heidi, along with their daughters Mackenzie and Mackayla; and his daughter, Sara Jo Shafer and son-in-law Jeremy, along with their children Cassidey, Gabrielle, and Charles. Rusty was preceded in death by his father, Frank Sanders, and wife, Mary Ellen Sanders (Voorhies).
He will be interred to rest at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on September 18, 2026. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
