Mrs. Pauline Vos, age 86, of Fernandina Beach, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 6, 2016 at Quality Health Care of Fernandina.

Born in Belding, MI, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ellen Reese. She had resided in Greenville, MI since the age of seventeen until moving to Fernandina Beach in 1989. Upon arriving in Fernandina Beach Mrs. Vos made Peppertree Village here home until joining her son and daughter in law in 2011. She had been a longtime member of the North 14th Street Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and had most recently attended Blackrock Baptist Church.

Mrs. Vos enjoyed Bingo at the Senior Center, being with family and her pet Scottish Terrier.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by a grand daughter, Jamie Prosser.

She leaves behind, children, Kathy Alger and her husband, Larry, Phoenix, AZ, Joe Vos and his wife, Val, Greenville, MI, Al Vos and his wife, Teresa, Fernandina Beach, FL, David Vos, Stuart, FL, John Vos and his wife, Jill, Iva, SC, grandchildren, Phillip Alger, Gregory Alger, Jessica Alger, Matthew Vos, Lisa Vos, Ashley Vos, Ginny Manfre, Mariah Rodrigo, Dakota Vos, Stephanie Ward, Brittany Ward and three great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 � 7:00 pm at Oxley Heard,

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, September 9, 2016 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley Heard.

Mrs. Vos will be laid to rest beside her husband in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens on Sunday, September 11, 2016.
