Jenean Davis Couch

Penny and I have been friends since eighth grade. At the first meeting, I was amazed that anyone could have that much metal on her teeth and still have the most beautiful smile. I believe that her beautiful smile was a match to her beautiful heart.

Paul and Jean Worley

Penny had the most wonderful smile. She spread cheer wherever she went. We will miss her sweetness.

Ansley and Rusty Acree

There really are not enough words to describe the pain in my heart for the loss of my dear friend Penny She was a beautiful, gracious and generous lady. She welcomed me into Holy Trinity Anglican Church in 2007 and later asked me to become part of the Churches Alter Guild. As our friendship grew she invited me to join the Mahjong group she was a part of and what fun we had for many years. In 2010 , Penny, myself and a few other wonderful ladies formed a monthly luncheon group called "Foodies" which lasted until COVID Penny was definitely a great cook. Penny was an angel here on earth and now she is an angel in heaven watching over all of us. Rusty and I feel very blessed to have had Penny in our lives and as a dear friend and we will miss her . Our prayers to to Jimmy and her entire family.

Tommy and Ann Smith

One of Ann’s favorite memories is our lunch at our same table at Barzin with our favorite dish and wine while enjoying each other’s company all afternoon. Shopping days with Lynn Reid and Penny to St. Augustine and jaconville were the best! Wonderful dinners at Jim and Pennys home were always the best. Friday night at Baxter’s at their favorite booth with their favorite waitress and of course their favorite wine. These are just a few of our favorite memories we shared over the past 25 years. Penny will be missed dearly! Jim, we love you!

Penny was my neighbor and friend since 2004 when I moved to Fernandina Beach. I am so saddened and shocked at her sudden death. Such a warm hearted, considerate, loving, giving person I will never forget. Her death has left me saddened that another of God's earthly angels has gone home to be with Him. My world is a little dimmer just knowing she is no longer here. RIP, Sweet Penny!

Judy and Steve Ochs

Penny was a mainstay of Holy Trinity Anglican Church. She proudly displayed her faith on her car’s bumper sticker that read “Anglicans Pray.” Her car was parked daily at the Fernandina Beach city pool, where for years she exercised in the 9:00 a.m. water aerobics class. We thank God for giving us Penny. She was humble, unpretentious, honest and dependable. She was truly the salt of the earth. We will greatly miss this wonderful woman.

Becky Padgett

Penny was a beautiful, kind, and lovely friend. She came and picked me up at the Ritz and took me to her home for a visit and to catch up on on what was happening in each of our lives. She was kind to everyone and willing to help anyway she could. No doubt the Lord will say: “Well done” for all she did for His kingdom while here before she joined Him in her Heavenly home. What a beautiful legacy she left.

Vickie Orwig

Penny was the very sweetest person I ever met. I met Penny when she was dating Jim, my dear cousin. I thought she was the most beautiful and sweet person in the world. And she always proved me correct. Condolences to Jim and their amazing family.

Lynne & Kent Reid.

Penny was a dear sweet friend from the moment I met her in Fernandina beach in 1999. I felt like I had found a new sister. She introduced me to so many wonderful things and people that I felt like we had found a new home. You will forever be in our heart.

Debbie Burford

Sweet Penny, was just that, always a smile when we saw each other at the pool we always had something funny to say. I will miss her very much and her kindness.

Marianna Eldredge McClymonds

Penny and I met and became best friends in the 5th grade at Central Park. We read (Nancy Drew), studied, played with dolls, shared our innermost thoughts, and more We were Camp Fire Girls and 7th grade school patrols, shared sleepovers, went to Washington DC and later Daytona Beach. Then Penny went off to FSU and I went to UGA. We sporadically kept in touch. I can honestly say I think of Penny every day. Penny was sweet, caring, and loving always. I miss her so much...

Bill and Lynn Bates

Johnny Harden

Cheryl & Jimmy Sandifer

We remember Penny as truly genuine and kind person. It is our joy to be so prileged to be her and Jimmy's friends for so long.

Linda Van. huss

We were close friends from age 10. I miss her already.

Linda and Jerry

We are so sad to lose our dear friend and neighbor Penny. Our hearts and prayers go out to Jim and his family. She will be truly missed.

Bobby and Linda Green

Our only consolation is that Penny is now experiencing life, free of the physical problems she endured so bravely the passed few years. To say she was a "true friend" sounds trite in comparison to what she meant to all who knew her. I have know her since grammar school and is friend who is 'irreplaceable' until we meet again.

Donny & Judy

She was a wonderful person and a dear friend whom we dearly loved. We will miss you.

Rick and Ruth Ann

As we sit here reading this we are still as much in shock. Penny always had a warm smile, a cheerful greeting and an encouraging word every time we saw her or spoke on the phone. Our grandson, Cacyn, loved his Ms. Penny and always want to give her a hug. She will be always be remembered and greatly missed. We love and are praying for all of you.

Rosemary Skidmore

The most sweetest , kindest southern lady I have ever met. There isn't a word in the English dictionary to describe how much she will be missed.

Clay Gaines

She was the best Grandmother you could ask for, she would pick me up from school and always made sure we had a couple snacks in the back seat to eat on the way home. Small things like this mean the world to me and will be with me forever. Rest In Peace Pen Pen, I love you
