Penelope (Penny) Schober Lee, 84, passed away July 6, 2020.

Penny was born in 1936 to John Lilly Schober and Laurie James Schober and grew up in Shreveport, LA. After graduating from Byrd High School, she attended Louisiana State University and became an avid, lifelong LSU football fan.

Penny married Robert Lee, moved to West Monroe, LA and raised her children, Tracey Lee Huff (Tom Livingston) and Robert Jeffrey Lee (Jennifer Wilburn). She enjoyed sports, novels, movies, and was a trivia whiz. Eventually back in Shreveport, Penny spent many happy years working for the Independence Bowl.

�Gam� loved her grandchildren, Taylor Huff, Salley Huff Chadwick, Lauren Huff Smith, Jack Lee, David Lee, and great-grandson, Lachlan Chadwick. Adding Dan Chadwick and Bryant Smith to her family was a special blessing.

A highlight of Penny�s recent years was her time spent with the Nassau County Council on Aging, Just Friends Group. The family asks that Penny is remembered with donations to the Council on Aging.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
