Percy Marcellus (Marc) Garnett, age 68 of Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021.
He was born on November 4, 1952 in Albemarle County, Virginia.

Marc was preceded in death by his parents Vivian E. and Percy W. Garnett and half brother Bill Bryans.

Marc was happily raised a country boy, especially enjoying gardening and fishing with his dad. He enjoyed an interesting life traveling throughout the United States. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Marc was very intelligent and knowledgeable in many subjects such as airplanes and technology. He was a student of God and very versed in the Bible.

The light of his life for 14 years was his Jack Russell Terrier, Dozer. Marc and Dozer spent many years together with Marc riding his bicycle pulling Dozer behind him in Dozer’s cart. Marc loved the island and lived here for over 20 years. He especially loved the ocean and watching the sunset over the Amelia River. He enjoyed the Allman Brothers music and the Andy Griffith Show.
