Phillip Ray McCormick, age 46 of Yulee, FL passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on November 20, 1971 in Jacksonville, Florida to Johnny Ray McCormick and Linda C. Gibbs.

He lived most of his life in Yulee, Florida and attended Fernandina Beach High School.

Phillip loved �good music and a loud crowd� and could be found singing country and southern rock songs at local bars, karaoke and weddings. He enjoyed riding his Harley and especially loved walking on the beach at sunrise with his beloved wife, Nikki. Phillip was known as an out-going person who never met a stranger. His daughters were his life and his granddaughter was the apple of his eye.

He leaves behind his wife, Nikki McCormick of Yulee, Florida; daughters, Leah Boyles and Carey McCormick both of Denver, Colorado; father, Johnny McCormick of Yulee, Florida; sister, Trish McCormick of Yulee, Florida; and granddaughter, Lovelynn Rae Boyles of Stasburg, Colorado.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service at Oxley-Heard.

He will be laid to rest in Hughes Cemetery.
