Paul, I have always loved you as my brother. You were the most amazing guy, friend, brother, and musician. To my extended family I send my love for healing. Earth as we knew it, will never be the same. Macaroni, I will miss you Bubba. You rock on, in Heaven, with everyone who was waiting bon you. And could ya tell Greg, I love him too...lol.. As I was planning, to attend this celebration, of Pauls, wonderful life, I have became ill, with bronchitis. I will spare you...no worries.. ❤. Pierre “Paul” Bazzell, age 58, passed away on December 12, 2021, in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Paul was born on January 15, 1963 and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. He leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Ann, and his cherished children, Melissa Harper (Jason), Christopher Bazzell, Benjamin Bazzell (Jaelin), and Aliana Bazzell. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Victoria Bazzell, Lilly Bazzell, Mason Harper, Ariel Harper, Luke Bazzell, and Chase Bazzell. He also leaves behind his mother, Alicia Drury and his sister Jennene and his nieces.
He was predeceased by his father, James Bazzell, aka Sorrells Pickard.
Paul was very musically talented and played in numerous bands and venues in Jacksonville and across the country, including Los Angeles. Another passion of Paul’s was his extensive knowledge and collection of palm trees. He was an entrepreneur who specialized in the care of palm trees throughout the state of Florida. He lived for Gator football games. Paul was devoted to his family and was always ready to be silly and make people laugh.
The family will receive friends on December 19th beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Oxley Heard Funeral Home. The funeral services will be immediately following at 12:00 at Oxley Heard. The family is inviting everyone to a reception immediately following at Springhill Baptist Church, 941017 Old Nassauville, Rd. Fernandina Beach.
