He was always a good listener, have God in his heart and trust him dearly. He was the protector of his family. Long walks were his meditation ritual. He live the high Hill mountains in his hometown of North Mexico. I guess, he perhaps felt at the Hills , God can hear him better. Deeply missed

Reynol Antonio Villarreal

Reynol Antonio Villarreal, 83, of Fernandina Beach passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the Warner Center for Caring.

Born in Higueras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Mr. Villarreal moved to Fernandina Beach in May of 2005 with his wife Elvia to be nearer to their two daughters.

Prior to moving to Fernandina Beach, he earned an Associate degree in Accounting and was the owner of a Small Auto Parts Shop. Before retiring he worked as a sales representative for a Welding Equipment Rental Company in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

In his younger years he enjoyed spending time in the hills and mountains of his home country and later on taking long walks at the beach in Fernandina Beach, collecting sea shells. He also enjoyed western and action movies and TV shows as well as regional music. Mr. Villarreal will always be remembered for his loving and kind nature, always enjoying dancing and making those around him happy whenever he could.

Raised in the Catholic faith he worshiped at St. Michaels Parrish when his health allowed. He dearly loved his family and they will always remember him for his loving and protective ways and how he dearly cared for his own mother, Simona Gonzalez de Villarreal, and later for his wife, Elvia Martinez de Villarreal who passed away in 2010.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his parents and three siblings who lived in Mexico.

He leaves behind his daughters, Elvia del Carmen Imhof and her husband, Thomas, of Greensboro, GA and Elizabeth Crisher and her husband, Stanley of Fernandina Beach; his three grandchildren, Anika Imhof, Cory Crisher and Wyatt Imhof as well as several extended family members who continue to reside in Mexico.

Funeral services for Mr. Villarreal will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard with Father Jose Kallukalam, Celebrant.

His family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the funeral home.

He will be laid to rest with his wife at Bosque Bello Cemetery.
